Before You Book

Policies

Healed results may vary. There is no guarantee, everyone’s skin is different and some may retain pigment better than others. Oily and thicker skinned clients tend to not retain pigment as well as clients that have thinner or dry skin. You may need more than the required 2 sessions to obtain optimal results. Each additional touch up, after second session, is $50. Aftercare takes a big role in healed results as well and since we have no control once you leave salon we cannot guarantee anything.

Previous work

If you have previously microbladed or tattooed brows please email Brianna a clear photo prior to making an appointment. She will then be able to determine if you are a good candidate for her services.

Deposit

A deposit of $100 is required to book an appointment and secure your spot. This deposit is applied towards your total procedure fee. The remaining amount will be due the day of appointment. Deposit is non-refundable. If you book online Brianna will send you an invoice, via email, once she has accepted your appointment request. Cash or card payments are accepted. Card payments will be taxed. Cash is always a flat fee.

NO REFUNDS on all services. Because microblading results can not be 100 percent guaranteed due to skin type(oily/dry), pigment retention, pre and post aftercare, and lifestyle, these all can majorly contribute to your healed results. Since microblading is a process and not suited for everyone, desired results may vary. A refund cannot be made because I am in not in control of these factors listed, that play a role in the healing process.

Cancellation policy

Please notify Brianna if you are going to be late. If you are more than 15 minutes late or fail to reschedule within 48 hours (2 days) prior to appointment your deposit will be forfeited and another non-refundable deposit will be required to rebook a new appointment. No children under the age of 18 are allowed. If you bring your child/ren to appointment your deposit will be forfeited.

Prior to your appointment

Please do not drink alcohol, take Ibuprofen (Tylenol is ok) or take any vitamins 3 days before your appointment. These all thin the blood which can make the microblading process more difficult on your Brow Artist. We want the body as pure as possible before tattooing for optimal results. Please arrive with a clean face unless you want to show Bri how you fill in your brows. Shower before your appointment because you wont be able to day after your procedure. If you plan to go on a vacation, it is recommended to plan your trip a minimum of 14 days after the procedure.

FAQs

How long does it last

Microblading will fade over time and you may need a touch-up every 1-2 years. Frequency of touch-ups depends on a number of factors including: the pigment color used (lighter colors fade faster), lifestyle (sun exposure),  and if any chemical peels come into contact with treated areas. Please note that final results can not be guaranteed as each unique skintype will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates. For example, oily skin types may require touch ups more often. We will re-evaluate how your skin has received the pigment at your touch-up appointment and make any changes necessary.

Does it hurt?

A highly-effective, topical anesthetic cream is used for numbing before and during your procedure. Pain threshold levels vary from person to person and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the entirety of the procedure. Please make sure to follow precare instructions for optimal results with absorbing numbing cream.

How do I know what color is right for me?

Color choice is based on Brianna’s professional opinion, your natural brow hair, color, and skin type. Let her know if you have color in mind. If you are unsure we can always go darker, but never lighter so we can start with a lighter shade and at the touch up we can go darker if you decide to.

How do I know what brow shape is right for me?

Brianna designs a brow based on your facial structure. She will make a custom brow just for you. Don't be afraid to have a voice, these brows are being designed with you in mind. You may show up with brows filled in to give her an idea of what you’d like or bring reference photos.

How long does the procedure take?

Numbing cream needs to sit on the skin for 30 minutes. After numbing cream comes brow design which can vary. Brianna allows about 30 minutes for that. Procedure takes 11/2 -2 hours depending on brow thickness.

How many treatments do I need?

Two treatments are required. Must be at least 4 weeks apart and no more than 12 weeks. Everyone heals differently and at different rates. If your cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly the first time, do not worry! We can always go darker and add more density at your next appointment.

If you wait longer than 3 months (12 weeks) to get your touch up your free session will be forfeited and you will be charged half of the going at the time, since it will be like doing it like the first time.

HOW WILL I LOOK IMMEDIATELY AFTER? WHAT IS THE HEALING PROCESS?

Your microbladed brows will appear much darker and bigger than expected for the first few days. They will gradually lighten during the complete healing process. Some clients get red or swollen but this will subside within a day.

WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER THE PROCEDURE?

Brianna will provide you with aftercare instructions and a pamphlet to take home following your procedure. It is highly beneficial to follow these instructions to ensure a comfortable healing process and to achieve the best results. The most essential aftercare is to keep the treated area moist, DO NOT rub or pick the healing area as the color will peel off prematurely, and avoid extreme heat and contaminated bodies of water (such as saunas, Jacuzzis, steam rooms, pools, lakes, places with hot humidity).

What should I know about long term care?

A good sunscreen applied daily AFTER healing on the tattooed area(s) is needed to help keep color true. As with any tattoo, sun exposure will make the color fade faster. You may need a touch-up every 1-3 years. The fading speed depends on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, pigment color used, broken capillaries, iron deficiency, and if any chemical peels were done after cosmetic tattooing.  If you are planning a chemical peel, MRI or other medical procedure, please inform the technician that you have had a cosmetic tattoo. Careful application must be taken to avoid affecting the tattooed area.
If you are planning to have laser treatments, tell your laser specialist to avoid the pigmented area. Laser may cause pigment to turn black.
